在蒸汽流量測量中，蒸汽主要涉及兩種，一種為外供蒸汽，一種為鍋爐的過熱蒸汽。外供蒸汽是經(jīng)過減溫減壓后的蒸汽，溫度不高，且摻有大量水分，且需時用時不用，時刻根據(jù)用戶的要求改變蒸汽流量。在實際的流量測量過程中有時流量偏大有時流量偏小，非常不穩(wěn)定，經(jīng)常需要進行排污，每次排污后變送器的測量又準確了，但蒸汽管道的排污次數(shù)多了，又容易導致導壓管上各個接點漏汽。

在測量過熱蒸汽的使用中，發(fā)現(xiàn)大的問題就是有時停機，重新開機后流量就會發(fā)生偏差，導致失準，且有時停下來后仍有少許流量顯示。一般變送器安裝位置低于測量管道。但在實際的安裝中，外供蒸汽流量的凝結罐與變送器都高于測量管道，且從節(jié)流裝置接出來的向下敷設至少1米的導壓管路也太短。

鍋爐的過熱蒸汽流量也存在著凝結罐與測量管道的高度不一致問題，導致凝結水的高度不平衡，引起了靜壓差。

導壓管堵塞問題 

在壓力測量中，有時指示的壓力不隨工況而變化。打開排污閥后只有少量的污水后就沒水流出，這是由于水質或壓縮空氣中會帶有少量的浮塵，隨著水流而進入導壓管沉淀。日積月累的運行，導壓管的管壁會腐蝕積垢，出現(xiàn)堵塞現(xiàn)象。
